You see it before you buy it
The questionnaire is free and your speech is written before you are asked for anything. You read the real opening, built from your own stories, and only pay if you want the rest. Nobody pays here without having seen what they are paying for, which removes most of the reasons a refund is normally needed.
The instant speech (£49.99)
Payment delivers the rest of the speech immediately. At checkout you asked for that and acknowledged that, once delivered, the 14-day cancellation right for digital content no longer applies. That is the standard UK rule for instant digital content, and it is what lets us deliver in minutes.
We refund in full, regardless, when:
- generation fails and we cannot deliver your drafts;
- the speech is not what was described (for example it ignores your questionnaire), and two revision requests have not fixed it;
- you were charged without receiving access to your speech page.
“I read it and decided I would rather write my own” is not a fault, but email us anyway. We would rather leave you happy than keep £49.99.
Checked by a professional (£125)
The 48 hours starts when you pay, since that is when the work begins.
After that, if the checked version has not reached you within 48 hours and we have not agreed a different date with you, email us and you can have the difference between this and the instant speech back, or a full refund if you would rather. The same fault-based grounds above apply to the speech itself.
Written for you (£500)
Enquiries cost nothing and there is no online payment for this service, so nothing here is taken up front. Payment is arranged after the discovery call, once you have decided to go ahead.
Cancel before the call for a full refund. Cancel after the writing has begun and we refund the unused portion fairly. If the wedding is called off, tell us. We are human about it.
How to claim
Email hello@weddingspeechwriters.co.uk with your order email address. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 working days.
